I really wonder what their bottleneck is: it's running on Unreal Engine 4 and, with the right optimisations, should be hitting 60 FPS on a decent PC no problem.

Ive seen people benchmark ark with titan x/6700k and 980 ti sli setups and even they get drops to 25 fps

Even on a 980... overclocked. 30fps... 40 in areas with nothing but water.

Digital Foundry framerate test on Xbox One version

Xbone version is BELOW 720p (roughly 600p), and averages about 24FPS, with dips to as low as 9 in the forests and about a 15FPS average in the forests. Nothing could be a better example of developers just wanting money than releasing a broken piece of shite at 600p resolution in 2016.
