I didn't play much Gwent on my first playthrough and missed getting the Baron's card.
This time, I once again skipped Gwent and didn't get the Baron's card.
Got bored yesterday morning and started playing Gwent. Somehow it was 2am.
I really wish they had done a better job of get every card quest. Not sure why they punk the completionists with the Baron and the other quest cards. Way too easy to screw this one up.
Once I completed the Gwent quests, I was sad I didn't have more gwent questing to do.
I'm not sure where the remaining cards are located. I've hit most stores if not all, but it is too damn hard to backtrack and no if I already hit a spot.
Any mods keep track of the cards and locations?

You can find the Baron's card in his office or room. Google it. You can get the cards your supposed to get from the innkeeper in White Orchard from the merchant right outside the tavern. The only truly missable cards is the card you have to win from Triss's quest at the ball, the three cards you can optionally give back to Zoltan, and a Necker card you get from killing some guy in Skillige. There is like 38 cards you have to win from all the random NPC's that play throughout the Witcher world.

Also google "A Miraculous Guide To Gwent" and go buy it. It's a book that will tell you how many cards you are missing from each region.

The only cards you can legit miss come from the tournament at the estate party

I believe you have to actually win the Baron's card from him to get credit for the quest. I looted it from his room but still got the red x or whatever on the mission because I didn't actually win it from him.
