Boys and Girls we are 2 hours away from the release date! Are you ready? I've been waiting for this game for a long long time and I'm really hoping it lives up to the billing. At least I know it will look good visually

Why would anyone play this over something like Project Cars or (if you have an xbox) Forza 7?

Forza 7 is awful though? I almost bought that shite on PC until I started reading about it, yikes. Lot of hate for that game.

I'm just saying because all signs point to this being the worst Gran Turismo. There's virtually no offline content.

Pick it up and play it. Sure people are bitching that there's no offline content. But I played for 4 hours last night and didn't touch an online race

I'm sure people did the same thing back in 1995 with Ridge Racer on the PSX, but it's 2017 and we expect more from our racing titles.

I'm for sure picking this up, nothing scratches that racing itch quite like GT.

I am not currently playing any racing games. The last ones I played were Driveclub and Forza Horizon 3. I wouldn't say either of those games are racing sims like GT games though.
The last GT game I played was I think 5, and it was amazing.

Yeah those are definitely more arcade driven than true sim but still fun games to play nonetheless. I also loved the previous GTs

So unless I really dig the online play, I'd stick with GT 6 or Forza 6/7 (depending on your distaste for lootboxes).

Because GT is still king of driving sims for the majority of players?

Anyone else pick this up? I was thinking about getting it but then I read the single player content was extremely limited. I was hoping for an experience similar to the original GT games but seems like this one is going in a different direction.
