Gaming noob question - What video games are similar to these that I will like?

I have an Xbox One. I'm not a huge gamer, normally I just play sports games. I've played all the Batman games and loved them, along with Shadow of Mordor. Recently I've been playing Assassin's Creed - Black Flag and I enjoy that a lot also. (Other than the weird going back and forth from "virtual world" to real world. I just wanna be a pirate dammit.)
Based on those games- what should I look into next? Other Assassin's Creed games? I know there are multiple. Is the order of them important?

If you like being a pirate then AC Rogue is another version of that. The AC games are hit and miss. AC2 is the best.

Possibly Sunset Overdrive.
Certainly Rise of the Tomb Raider, very Batman/Mordor like. Best game last year, great story.

I really enjoyed far cry 3, which I think is a similar play style to some of those?
