How about the 8-bit "Tiger" and the Tron "Droppings" in white?
I can't picture it to see how it looks, i was just looking for a compromise.
ETA: I like the 8-bit...and the blue on it. Either gray looks good.
ETA2: On the darker on, you can't see the controller cord.
