Anybody ever seen one of these consoles in person or own one?
They're pretty rare and expensive on eBay and whatnot. Wonder what the price of these things will be in 10 years or more.

I remember the whispers about it, I remember wanting to get my hands on the PSX
It was a rare Playstation 2 with DVR capability that was never released outside of Japan and was not really a success.
Fun Fact: The PSX was the first Sony machine to utilize what we now know as the Cross Media Bar.

I thought they were only released in Japan. It's just a Gamecube with a DVD player added to it, though I could see why a collector might want one.

I think they were but can be modded to play NTSC games.

If we're talking about consoles we always coveted but never owned, I'll mention this one.
I wanted one SO bad, but good God they were expensive. But, what kind of console comes with 2 arcade sticks!? My mind was blown.
Still...at $650 there was no way I'd ever own one.

I do like how the shell of the machine was stainless steel.
