On the topic of Starcraft, the scene where Kerrigan is left to die makes me want to kick puppies.

It didn't used to bother me, but since my nieces were born, I can't stand seeing bad things happen to babies in video games/movies.

I used to think Brannen had played more video games than anyone here but watching you post more and more, I'm not so sure

Phantasy Star II was utterly depressing the further you got into the game.

I don't think I've really played that many. A lot of games I simply know the stories by reading them online or watching the cutscenes when I'm bored. Games that are on PC only, I really don't have much of a history with. I have played Starcraft 1/2 and some other older ones.

I do buy used games often though and have a small backlog to finish on my PS3 when I get the time.

I play games for the stories. That's why I like RPGs so much. They are interactive movies.

Congrats!

My lil girl is a trip. I hope my son is just like her. He's due Aug 11 but I really don't see it. They say he's at the rate he's growing he's 3 weeks ahead of schedule.

That's what I don't get about people that give a bad stigma to "gamers". What's the difference in playing a game or watching a TV show or movie?

Not to derail any further, but I remember when they told me we were having a boy. We left the doctor and my wife needed to use the bathroom. While I waited, this enormous sense of responsibility hit me, almost overwhelming. "Holy cow, I'm having a son. I'll have to teach him so much."

I imagine if it was a girl, I'd be thinking about who all I'd have to kill before she arrived

How else am I supposed to find out how Diablo continues after Diablo 2?

Nothing, as far as I am concerned. I just get to control it, rather than just watch it.

One moment I'm surprised hasn't been listed yet is Dom's death in GoW 3.

Never played 3 but watched that clip. With "Mad World" playing......that was pretty intense.

People still give a bad stigma to gamers?

frick you for posting that.

Turned it off the minute I saw "Max Payne".

What about Lee's death at the end of Walking Dead? I had Clem shoot him. Seemed like right thing to do.
