never got into any of the souls games but bloodborne is fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasnt tried it yet. Anyone got some advice on what to use my 2nd bloodrock on? Used the first on Ludwigs blade. DLC weapon maybe?

Gehrman wasn't as bad as i thought. fairly easy to stagger, but still died about 3 times before i got him. I like the axe.

I would use it on the whirligig saw. You can find more blood rocks in the chalice dungeons if you want to upgrade more weapons.

Small hijack:

Should I start with Bloodborne or DS 2?

I really dislike games that are punishing like these but I am willing to give one of them a shot off the used rack at gamestop

so is it possible to co-op with a friend just starting or does the level difference not allow it? im level 125 or something close to that and he would be starting from beginning

Bloodborne has a pretty steep learning curve but once you learn how to time your attacks with the way the enemy attacks and moves then you will really start to enjoy it. Don't be discouraged when you die like a bitch over and over again. You will figure it out and it is oh so satisfying when you do. It also makes it easier if you find a place to grind levels and weapon upgrade shards. There are several accessible even from the very beginning.

Also, Dark Souls 3 is coming out next month and it looks like it is more like Bloodborne then DS2.

The beginning of Bloodborne was designed to kick your arse more than most of the game. Once you learn to manage it, you will be fine for a while.

Grinding is the key to these games. I actually started playing this again recently and I just wanted to say how much AIDS the walk is to get back to the boss in the forbidden woods.
