Between Kingdom Hearts, Advent Children, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus, most are familiar with the voice of most of the characters:
Cloud - Steve Burton
Tifa - Rachael Lee Cook
Barrett - Beau Billingslea

Yuffie - Christy Carlson Romano

I think played this one too far past its prime. I was nault impressed with anything in the game. To me, if you take out the Draw system from VIII, it blows 7 away. X destroys them both. I know how it is though, if you don't play it when it comes out, it really takes away from what makes it great.

This excites me because I never played FF7. frick the guy in middle school that told me I wouldn't like it because I liked sports games. frick that dude.
If this goes well it could start a pattern of remaking PS1 era games that aged poorly, which is all of them MGS remake please. It's not like Konami is doing anything else.

I played it to the point where (hope I remember this right) you escape this building and your on a freeway getting attacked by all kinds of things, and then you get stopped by this huge creature that I never could beat. I have it on my PS3, but dated graphics and controls prevent me from ever getting far.
Honestly don't think I'll get into this one either, but I'm excited they are doing it. Like with Shenmue. Only ever watched a friend play 2 briefly, but I know how big of a deal it is, so that's exciting.

Why? Even if the English is well voiced like say "Last of Us"?
Do you just prefer the sound of the Japanese language?

Square has done a very good job at their dubs. Final Fantasy XII and XIII both have very good English voice acting. FF15 is very good so far, and I imagine they'll push a lot of work into FF7.
That said, dual audio should be included regardless for the fans who want it. Not much reason to exclude it.

Would rather have a FFVI remake. It's a much better game than 7.

They remade FF6 on Android and IOS.
I don't know about which is better, but FF6 really doesn't get the attention it deserves.
