On Ultros with NeoGAF. In about 1 months time, I've hit 50 on WAR (i73 last I looked) and working on 5 or 6 "craft/gathering" jobs at the same time. Damn near 300 hours played already...
But haven't started any of Coil yet, and still need to get around and doing the Main story for 2.1 and 2.2. But Garuda EX, that stumped the shite out of me, trying to offtank that, getting the right mini-garuda's and plumes.

If you're doing Garuda EX, you can and should be doing T1 and T2 for gear (or at least CT to get i80). Both of those bosses drop i90 tank gear often.

This ^^^
It will be difficult to pass garuda ex until you understand the dynamics of that fight it's a complete tank fight. Your I lvl is kin of low for it as well as her wicked wheel attack hit or 5-6 k on warrior without any cool downs up. You could farm myth tomes for a day or two and have a I 90 warrior while simultaneously running coil turns 1 and 2.

All true, but since that post, I've been on a crafting binge, as well as leveling up Archer.

Oauron are you and Andavari still playing? Just wondering how far you guys have progressed in your statics in 2nd coil.

Andvari doesn't play anymore afaik, our static cleared t8 last week. We have way more trouble with t7 than t8.
Our group is getting pretty geared too. Both tanks are i100 or higher and we have 3 DPS who are well over 300 dps on t8 (monk gets about 390 dps).

I picked up the PS4 version the other day since Target forced me into buying something with trades(FL thing).
I've heard glowing reviews about it, been a big FF fan, and spent many years in EQ, SWG, and WoW. My biggest concern before I open this is how are things once you reach max level? Is there plenty to do?

Yeah we have cleared t6 for the past 3 weeks and but have only had 2 weeks on t7 and we are on phase 3 so I think we will get a clear this week although one of our healers scum bagged steved us and ran with another rstatic and cleared so we short a healer. I whiffed on double tank drop for turn 6 this past week sadly so I still have 0 high allagan gear.

Ha yeah hunt have been fun as hell but they have created some animosity on the server to the larger fc's
that don't wait for folks to show up to start the hunt. In second coil with static group should down turn 8 this week. Then will be on to ramuah. Pvp also looks awesome with frontlines. I farmed hunts all day yesterday picked up a Sand of time and and also have almost enough for 2nd sand lol. So gearing out is going much better since we have been super unlucky on tank drops. At least our dps are geared for t8. Also hunts have been super easy to get myth instead if farming brayflox got 6 mysterious maps yesterday done 32/75 on novus now. Should be done that by end of the month.

Lol. This has not been my case at all. We've gotten one tank drop from t6 for months.

We have gotten two tank drops in 7 weeks doing turn 6 and 7. I got the high allagan circlet, our other tank was missing in t7 when choker dropped and pug got it and pants droppedast week an I let other tank get it since he's only had an oil drop I had to talk him off the ledge after no gear drops in 7 weeks lol.

My bud that fills in our raid grp with his alt was server first on exodus with their grps ramuah kill. He said it was hard as shite yet they 5 shot it.

Well. While I only really log in for Hildebrand Quests (+ new event quests) and Coil, I still enjoy the game.
My group still hasn't beaten Turn 9. We've gotten Nael to 16% though. We just haven't had one afternoon where we spend a long amount of time fighting in like 6 weeks.
