a friend of ours told a pretty awesome strategy for t2, basically it involves only having to go through the rot rotation once, after that, you don't have to worry about it ever again.

Ours is pretty farm level.

Tanks swap after it hits 3rd lvl debuff. MNK wails away all battle. 2 bards swap silencing voltage. BLM bombs away. The two healers, BLM, and 2 bards are all numbered before battle. Rot is on rotation and transferred to the next person with 5 seconds left.

Numbered in such a way that the healers never have to worry about transferring to each other.

Also - good luck on T4 finding a tank, or finding 3 healers past the first 2 days on t2.

Also, good luck even beating t4, cause nobody needs "mechanics" in this game anymore, just spam medica and we're good.

I'm spoiled. T4 ain't that bad if your healers and tanks have good chemistry.

Try this next time..

Number just enough people for rot reject to run out after the 5 second trade off.

When you are at the end of the rotation - everyone "huddles" up and works the rink as a cluster.

From that point on you do not have to worry about Rot - because it auto-bounces from player to player

Isn't there immunity? It would jump far too quickly.

That's the point - after the first rotation, everyone's immunity is synced up to perfections - so every time someone's immunity drops they grab it, as if someone was running to them, but the immunity does it for them.

I did it last week and it was the most boring, stupid thing I've ever done.. sitting around for 8 minutes while we wait for ADS to get to 1 click was so.. not end game, and didn't teach anyone anything.

When you've already learned the mechanics then there is nothing to teach.

Most people aren't pugging T4 anyway. T2 enrage is a godsend for people who have to pug.

Love the Christmas and snow theme they got going.

Also the duty roulette. I hadn't log on in a bit and had some extra XP boost, but did a roulette last night and started at lvl 34 and by the time it was done I was half way to 35 on the first dungeon. Was getting 500+xp for every kill on lvl 15 monsters, plus all the bonuses. frick faith grinding now.

Btw I'm almost at end game stuff and I noticed there was a cap on tombstones of philosophy and mythology. So in theorey it will take me more than a month to get a full dark light set or valor set?

It's a term used to describe something that you just do. We one-shot turns 1-4, making just another a portion of the game in execution.

Don't get confused. Both have a max cap, but you can just spend it. You're capped to 300 tomestones of myth every week. No caps on philosophy, which is what is used for darklight.

In the max level dungeons, you tomestones that can be traded in for top tier gear. There are two types, philosophy and mythology. Philo is awarded in greater number and the gear is a step down. Myth is much more valuable and given out in much lower number.

Correct. WP speed runs can make it go a lot faster. ~500/hour is definitely doable.
