Are you going to be playing New years night or you going partying? That will be my next long sesh i ended up getting off that night.

This is why I'm not sure I can come back to this game. If I was doing this on NYE instead of going out I would be so damn depressed about my life.

Finally joined a Grand Company currently grinding out leves for seals to get my chocobo now

I've never heard of it, so I don't think I've been there. I'm in doing leves in camp drybone to get seals. Haven't been on since yesterday but I think I need to do 3 more to get to 2000 seals

Gotcha. I just hit 23 and got my chocobo so I'm just kinda following the story quests while queuing for duty roulette: low

It sort of never ends.

Once you hit 50 with a class:

-Complete your class quests (if you haven't already)

-Then proceed to your job quests(Lancer -> Dragoon, Conjurer -> White Mage, and so on) and get all of the AF gear.

-Will probably want to start on your relic quest for whatever job you are doing. This involves taking on all the major primals, Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan (along with Chimera and Hydra).

-Then start working on your Dark Light armor. This is pretty tedious but if you have any desire to progress to Coil and any of the extreme primal battles, this is a necessary step. I say step because you'll eventually upgrade that. You purchase dark light with the philosophy tomes you acquire from running dungeons (Amdapor Keep, Wanderer's Palace...), along with the primal battles as well. You can rack those up as fast as you can, but for the mythos tomes, there is a cap per week you can earn. Used to be 300, but now it's 450. You'll use these to purchase your relic materials and your AF2 gear.

-Also, it's a good idea to try to get a primal weapon on your way to relic. You'll get some from the dungeons but they don't compare. I never got any of Titan's weapons, but Garuda's was pretty legit prior to relic.

-Now there's a slew of other end game runs and whatnot that I haven't even touched yet. And it's going to keep going, I'm sure.




So yeah, there's plenty to do.

I agree with Oauron on the do not go into titan hard mode without full dark light gear. I have darklight besides the jewels and it was a rediculous fight my hp in dungeons and against primals is 5100 and it was really not enough. I felt bad for the healer. But with that said Titan got dropped last night and I got my Relic.

I was duty finding to get into the fight and mostly ran into people in their AF gear and when that happened I knew we were not making it past titan's heart. Dps wasn't hitting hard enough to take it down and tanks hp wasn't high enough to survive the fight.
