Smart move IMO. Take the extra time to make the game more awesome and release it when it won't collide with other new releases.

Good, I'd rather them not rush the product. Wish they were doing another city besides LA though.

As much as I want the game now, taking the time to properly finish it is something I'll gladly wait for.

Yeah makes sense I guess.
Still weird for the full trailer to be released in November, but it's going to take 16 months at the earliest for the game to be finished.

They're just making sure they have enough bowling alleys and bars for you to take your annoying relatives to when you'd rather be out killing hookers.

I can't think of a city that could produce more crazy stories than NOLA, but I don't know how well it would work in a GTA setting if they made it just like the city with the narrow streets and such. I remember playing the Hitman level in a New Orleans Mardi Gras setting and it was pretty fricking cool.
