If you do ANYTHING for 40 hours straight there is a good chance you will die from exhaustion.

That's not really excessive gaming but the lack of feeding and maintaining yourself. You could replace gaming with nearly any other activity, when consumed for that amount of time consecutively, you'll probably end up in the hospital.

Sitting down for any extended period of time can result in an clot/embolism and can be detrimental to your health.
This includes:
Long car rides
Plane rides
Pretty much anything where you sit for extended periods of time.
