How does an MMO play on console? I can't wrap my head around it.

It would be impossible to play WoW on console and even FFXIV feels cumbersome, but. ESO was designed with consoles in mind. The UI and ability keys are straight out of a console game. The only issue is chat. Most console players are likely using the proximity voice chat.

I turn off area chat. Just doing it in groups or over psn with friends

For some trading and making profits in the online economy is fun, I understand. Personally I'm happy about limited trading.

I found out that if you go to the settings menu and turn "Voice" all the way down, that mutes all player chat.

If You buy a physical copy, is it a full install to the HD? Does it require the disk to play?

Combat matches up to the console controllers perfectly. Its not like skyrim in the sense that you smash the one button and over power your enemy, but the abilities go perfect with he controllers. Combat is just a bit more strategic than skyrim, "Nord with a battle axe" that I grew accustomed to.
