I got it free a while back. I remember being immediately put off on how it played. Maybe I went in with expectations.

Be honest, you were hoping to come across as smart by using the word 'contrarianism.'
I put about 8 hours into it this summer. Something felt that way for me too. I wasn't sure if the gameplay was a bit tedious, I played it too late, or if I just don't care for the fantasy genre. I liked what it was doing but I didn't get sucked in.

I would pick it up if Origin ever worked ever on my PC. I need to finally call them to get some support. I've just never cared enough

The game is like 10 years old. KoftOR also feels old and tedious. Still fun.
