Yep, totally fricking with you. It's surprising to see anyone on the gaming board who hadn't heard about Battlefront. It was released last month. Check gameplay videos, see if it looks fun for you. It has mixed opinions for sure. Some here couldn't take more than a couple hours of it, and some are finding it to be a fun time-waster. I'm in the latter camp. It is what it is. I had my fun.

Regardless, the consensus is that you don't get a lot of content compared to other shooters (few maps, no campaign, etc.), and for that reason it's not going to have the same staying power. The player population is significantly healthier on the consoles.
