My wife played "Stay With Me" a while back, really liked the music and all. I swore up and down that it was a remake of an older song. Obviously not, but it's very similar to something I've heard before, I'm sure.

Not really, but I read the wiki on the song and it calls it out for being really similar to one of his. But it's even the words, "stay with me", that seem familiar.

I agree with a lot of points he makes in this video. This generation has been all about better visuals so far with not much difference with gameplay. I feel like this happened last gen too although I didn't game as much then to remember.
He has some points, but there are others that are misguided. Bloodborne is 30 fps, because they've never gotten a Souls game to not have horrid frame drops. Going for a solid 30fps is a big challenge for that studio, because they put so little focus on graphics.
The overall graphics arms race does only have one person to blame and that's gamers. The market wants new and shinier things, and one of the biggest drivers of it is the expanding PC market.
I do feel he cherry picked a good bit, and ignores some of the innovative titles we've seen. His overall point is still valid though.
