I just picked it up.
Gonna finish up some tv watching and fire it up tomorrow.
You and Carson's first impressions sound promising

I have one side mission left, the end of the neon junkie one. I liked the one where you sneak into the news station. That one was cool.

And I have to say the distance hack ability is the bomb. Being able to hack the blinds so you can knock someone out, hacking turrets and cameras.
All so satisfying.
And the stun pistol is awesome.

I have it but haven't figured out how to use it. I am home sick and playing. The game is good but so much shite I can't hack yet!!!!

Yea, I focused a large portion of my praxis on hacking.
Dumped three into the decreased detection perk almost immediately.
I'm not able to hack level 5 yet though.
The other ability I focused heavily on is the invisibility skill. Really comes in handy in tight situations.

What control scheme are you guys using?
I went with the new scheme and it's a bitch to figure out. Y/triangle for sprint? Wtf

I went with the new control scheme they offered for MD, still not used to the cover mechanics.

I've gotten used to it. It really isn't bad once you get the system down. I don't do enough running to where the sprint button bothers me and the cover mechanics are a bit troublesome at times, especially when you try to move over or around objects.
Otherwise, I don't mind it.
The side missions are fun to discover. There are a few that have great storylines and tie into HR. The one with the broken ad billboard is cool, if y'all have found it.

Yeah as soon as I got to the jump puzzles I quit, it's the crutch of all games now. Here are a few screens before I quit.

Jumping puzzles?? Where? And how are you advancing so fast. I easily have 15 hours logged and I'm still in golem city

That's about right to me. I will say that this basically feels like Deus Ex: Human Revolution 2 or Deus Ex: Human Revolution remastered with DLC.
Personally I found the first game more enjoyable. The controls, gunplay, hit detection and movement feel off in this one.
I also agree with the notion that every object being able to be thrown is cool, but sometimes annoying when you're trying to pick up stuff and you keep grabbing all the shite laying around.
Just based on first impressions, I'd give it a 8-8.5/10

I haven't noticed any jump puzzles. You can usually handle situations multiple ways.

That is unfortunate. I wouldn't write it off completely. It isn't a GOTY title, but it is a solid game.
I haven't had any issues on PS4.
