Deus Ex: Mankind Divided release thread 8/23

So who here never asked for this?
But seriously, putting aside the SJW controversy around imagery used for this game - everything I've read about the game has me excited. No more forced boss fights, more augmentation specialization choices (to unlock new one have to give up old one), and all the air ducts one person could ever want.

Can't wait. Gonna be hacking turrets and robots and hiding in air ducts like a boss.

I believe the "canon" ending to HR is that the super expensive mid-ocean station is blown up and Augmented folks are scapegoated and put into ghettos.

Was just reading lots of articles about it last night. Pre ordered it along with Madden. They say your choices really matter and have an effect on the world around you. Can't wait.

Dishonored 2 or DOOM will be GOTY. Since first Deus Ex all the sequels have been sort of blah.
HR was fun to look at and loved the soundtrack. Combat took me out of the game most of the time.

You should be fine skipping it but I wouldn't because the game is great. I am really looking forward to this.

The animation move in the last game where you impaled people's heads with your bionic arm and spun them around was one of the most incredible things I've seen in a video game

Meta Critic score was good. My buddy said he loved it.

It's easier and more fun to stealth around, hack, and go invisible then slit someone's throat quietly and drag them into an air duct.
Going in guns blazing gets you killed quick iirc. Should only be a last resort and you better have an escape route
