In reference to thorn, one of the artifacts will have a perk to remove damage over time from enemies. In other words it will limit thorn.

Artifacts are going to ruin pvp. I give it a week before people find which artifact(s) to exploit and everyone uses it/them exclusively.

Am I wrong, though? Bungie keeps making the most short-sighted decisions with regard to pvp. Its gotten progressively worse over time, and that's coming from someone who thought thorn/Felwinters was ruining the game. Now I want it back.

You can solo many of them if you have several hours to kill and endless amounts of patience
I solo'd winters run once. I think it took 2 hours of hiding and sniping with a badger CCL. 'Twas a miserable experience, but damnit I can say I solo'd a nightfall.

When Crota's end was end game, I could solo any nightfall with my Warlock. And that was back when dying sent you to orbit.
I haven't tried since they nerfed the NF because it's not even worth the time now.

I bought the game when TTK was already out and by the time I got done with the story and got to the point where I was good enough to do some raids and shite, I was around 330.
I know for a fact I was getting more frequent exotic drops than my buddy I usually play with and he always has 3 of coins on. Seems like there was some built in shite to get me leveled up quickly till I got to 300ish. Started out at level 20 on the first mission too from some package I got for buying the game, which was very nice.
