I used to play Destiny, but got rid of it because it became kind of an addiction. I felt like I HAD to play versus actually enjoying it.

That being said, is the Taken King actually enjoyable or is it more of the same?

It's basically a new game and they're really done a great job of streaming the story and turning a lot of it into specific quests.
Also..the weapon/armor upgrade system has been completely overhauled. You're not forced into a specific set of armor to be the highest level anymore. You can basically upgrade and legendary or exotic weapon/armor to the highest level so you can customize your load out however you want it.

As someone who's played since the original Alpha, I'm actually jealous of the folks who get to experience the whole game the way they've redone it.

Oh and depending on your system there's two huge threads you can hop in on. Plenty of regulars.

I put it down back in December and got the itch.

I'm glad I picked it up.

Can you still do the original raids? I have always wanted to do them but never had a group of 6.

In a completely unrelated note, is there a TD xbox one group that plays destiny together?

Yes. Many people still do them. Even clueless people who are doing it for the first time.

Just got black spindle last night, man that was one of the most gratifying accomplishments in the game to finish that mission! Taken King has been on point.
