you can get thwomped and it barely takes off any stamina. like seriously you can fight sif and he will only take off tiny baby chunks of stamina. makes the fight trivial

Oh ok cool. Any opinion on divine weapons? I grabbed Astoris straight sword and started upgrading it and also started upgrading the divine club.

Ok cool. Yeah I'm flying through the combs. Its really not too hard so far and I've gotten pretty deep into it. Just want to get to the ring so I can become a Blade of the Darkmoon. That's my current goal. Can't fricking wait to exact some retribution on these arse holes that constantly invade me at the worst possible time. I'm practicing PvP right now in the forest covenant. As of now, I suck at it.

I use the Silver knight Spear. Its a rare drop but if you get your item find up enough and go through anor londo enough you will find it. It has awesome range and for some reason has a divine touch to it.

I have a few. Not a bad idea to use that for the range. I used it with a lot of effectiveness in Ariamis against the vomiting undead.

I just started NG++ and I'm level 166. I went with a strength build and that is around 60 I believe. I want to try some covenants, maybe Blade of the Darkmoon covenant or the Darkwraith covenant but I just suck at PVP.

Are dexterity and Magic builds better for PVP? It is very difficult to hit people I find using high strength weapons. I use a Plus 15 Demon Great Machete that deals high damage, but in PVP it is very slow.

I think the best PVP option is a high dex/pyromancy build. Magic can be easy to dodge, and strength weapons are too slow.

That said, I do think PVP in this game is kinda lame.

Aww shite man... I'm going to be so tempted to watch, but I don't think I want to. I kinda want to go into DS2 completely blind! Of course with exception to already knowing the game mechanics and all.

Also, I would like to add that I just got to the DLC for this game. I'm lvl 91 in NG, so I'm OP as frick. There was nothing Artorias could throw at me that I couldn't defend with my Balder Shield.

With the level matching in PVP, at Soul level 166, am I better off creating a new build rather than trying to level up stats? I would probably be close to lvl 180-190 by the time I leveled up other stats enough to be able to use better weapons for PVP.

Damn I hate this game. There's just too many different things to do and not enough time!!!

I haven't gotten to the DLC yet. Is there a particular time that is best to get into that? Just started a NG and not sure if it fits into the story of the game somehow.

At this point I would start up a new character to be used solely for PVP, and start working towards it. There are lots of good PVP builds out there. One very popular one is the 'reaper'. The great scythe +15 is without a doubt, the best DEX weapon in the game. I also think that two-handing the maxed out blade of chaos can make you nearly unstoppable.

It's a little confusing, but what you do is head out to Darkroot Basin after you kill the hydra, head beyond the waterfall, and there will be a golem. Kill him to free Dusk. Quit, reload and you can summon Dusk, and buy her spells. Quit, and reload and you can go pick up Dusk's equipment at the end of the cave at the Lake.

Then inside the Dukes Archives there is a crystal golem who will drop a broken pendant. Once you have the broken pendant, you can go back to Darkroot Basin in the cave, and you'll see a portal into the Abyss. Go through it and you're in DLC.

I still need to buy the DLC. Haven't gotten to the Archives yet so I'll just wait on that.
