I just need to get a more stable shield, the wolf ring, and a little more patience.
I think I gave it 5 tries tonight and killed the dogs just once. I never could get any separation after coming through the fog gate.

Ah, the motherfricking Capra demon. 9 times out of 10 I have no problems with him. I'm always a little bit nervous when I walk through that fog gate.

Killed Capra, ran to the Depths for the large ember, upgraded one reinforced club to fire, killed Pinwheel and got Mask of the Mother. Going to use my souls to upgrade my Pyro glove (just in case) and head to Blighttown. I may pick up some shards from Andre and upgrade my shield. I am going to farm large shards and green shards before killing Quelaag.

Beating some of the bosses at 1 is one of the best feelings. In an elitist kind of way, it feels like that's the way the game is meant to be played. It truly is a chess match.

I keep thinking of everything else to do before heading to Blighttown. Now since I have the crest shield, I want to kill Moonlight Butterfly and get the divine ember.
