Counter-Strike Source

I used to play a LOT a few years back. No more though. It is a much more "pure" FPS when compared to CoD and I prefer its style of play.

I prefer Counter-Strike to any FPS. shite never gets old.

i play more Day of Defeat than CS:S

frick yeah. been playing CS since '99....still the best multiplayer FPS game ever IMO (next to Quake2 of course)

I usually play on the Underground Central servers. .

eta- I have no problems with Source...not sure why so many do....and it's not a dying community. It's not as strong as it was, but it's still pretty damn strong considering how long it's been around.

well, they're both dying, CS more than CSS, you're right...but CSS lost a lot of it's players due to the new games that came out and the death of CAL

Yea CS is dying. When Angel Munoz sold CPL, that was the end of CS IMO.

fwiw, CS use to be great. Granted I was playing it on a 6 year old gateway that wasnt capable of running CSS, could be the reason why people who played CSS left for better games (they could run them). I have a few buddies that still play CS for the fact that their comps cant handle anything better.

I havent played CS in so long.. I used to play nothing bus CS, and then everyone I knew switched to CS:S so i started playing it an play it everynight.. So much more fun to me than any of the cod games.. and my 300 dolla emachine runs css with not one problem at all
