I get that not everyone has gaming PCs, but if you have the choice, ESO seems like a game better played on PC unlike DCUO.

Servers not working yet. But not surprised. Europe had a bit of trouble but is running fine now. Shouldn't be long

PC gaming is far too complicated. There are mods, add-ons, mouse and keyboard, macros, scripts, etc. etc. Give me a controller and a simple set up that I can do pretty much everything though and I'm happy.
I played 2 hrs this morning. Just breaking into this game and it feels like an Elder Scrolls game, which is great. I'm liking the whole set-up, there are a ton of skills it feels like. I also like how they try to avoid min-maxing and optimal builds, just let the players have at it with their style of play.
My only gripe so far, and it's a very lame one, is that I could use a little hand holding on quests..I could use a glitter trail telling me where to go. But it's okay, I'll figure out how to find my way around soon enough. It's just a little frustrating when you see a quest giver and then spend 20 minutes trying to get to them. The quests themselves are easy to do so far.
I think I'll use this afternoon to make my hireling bots..

I think you only have to be the same alliance. My upgraded version allows me to be whatever race I want to be with any alliance?
My character looks bad freakin arse though I must admit. Wish I had access to take a screenshot and post it.
ETA: It took a whole 5 minutes for me to leave voice chat. I think it's a good idea in concept, but there are a lot of terrible mic set-ups out there. Like mine for instance, I sit under a ceiling fan and totally unknown to me my mic is constantly going off with wind sounds. It's very annoying to other players. By far and away the most terrible is the people who have children around them. 1)The kids yell and scream and the mics pick it up so easily. 2) You realize this person is playing a freakin video game instead of playing with their children. Sometimes that just gets to me, especially when they are yelling for something and the player just ignores them.

I'm going to have to get a microphone and splitter off of Amazon. I use audio technica headphones and Astro mix amp but no microphone set up. What's your psn name, we can quest together.

IIRC PSN can play with PC? No cross over for XB1 I think.

Actually it's not cross platform at all. That kinda sucks..so why does PC versions go no-mod or add-on in the new update if they can't play with us?

I'll add ya. I'll be watching the Finals tonight, at least second half. And I won't have mic for another day or two. Not sure if that's deal breaker.
I'm not sure how long tutorial is and all that still waiting for the patch download. But we'll quest sometime soon.
