It's different ,ill give them that. Fwiw they do have armor for dogs that could make it more playable.
I for one would love to play as an attack dog if they handled it right.

I watched the reveal. I didn't hear them come straight out and say "play as a dog" . My interpretation was more like you will be able to use the dog somehow in multilayer. Maybe to defuse enemy shite, detect people, or who knows what. It seems like a pretty big stretch for the people to be in here bitching about something they can't possibly know anything about. With all that being said, looks pretty. I want.

Just a different element. I have fun flying a dragon fire in BLOPS II. Had a blast using the player controlled sentry gun in Mw3. Enjoy the AGR too.
I don't see the downside of being a dog player unless I really takes away from the team component. A fast dog to run cap flags? Sure. A dog vs dog "dog fight". Why the hell not?
As long as I don't end up like old yeller every time I get shot at I could at least try it. I'll withhold judgement until they explain it more but I'm not going to bash something on principle alone. They are definitely thinking outside the box, I'll give them credit for that.

Other sites have gleaned more info and it looks like a playable dog avatar is in this game.
Also I'm geeks about any customization and this is something I wanted long ago. Ability to change my appearance how I want. Like rainbow 6.

I wonder if the dog will be the equivalent of the RC car or predator drone as far as score streaks go, that could be interesting.
Eta I like what they did with league play in blops2. They need to build on that and have tourneys and other ladders. Give people a reason to play other than pubs. They also need to build on the idea of "clans". I also think they should let users create rooms with their own settings that are open to the public.
