Thinking about just doing a double up along walls maybe taking some stuff out of my base such as cannons to condense my walls and make it harder for wall breakers

gotta do stuff in between the layers of walls. i hunt out for the villages that have double stacked walls because the wb's aoe knocks them out easy. then the wave of giants clears the path making it an easy win.

town hall 7 is underway and I'm getting pretty close to 1250 trophies

Just an FYI. Upgrading mines to level 8 or above should really be a low priority. It'll take you 15 days to break even on a level 8 mine and then it's like 22 or more on a level 9 and over a month on a level 10 mine.
If you know you've got a builder that's going to be idle for 2 days sure do it, otherwise keep them on more important things like storage, army camps, clan hall etc.
I would say before TH 7/8 there's really no reason for wizards and healers.
Also you are going to have to have 3 storage for gold/elixer at TH 9 to afford some of the upgrades (7.5 mil for level 6 archers). So don't worry about making them early.
Barracks are more personal preference depending on your raiding style, I've been pretty efficient at TH 8 w/ Wizards but up until now they were overpriced and took to long to create for what I was getting. If you time it right 1 healer can be very effective at keeping giants alive and letting archers/wizards take stuff out (assuming youv'e knocked out their mortars).

See this is why I say every one has own playing style, just going to use JB as an example since we are close in level and our bases are similar....
Also storages/elixirs/mines take awhile to build so maxing them out at a low level is better than trying o do it when you are higher and things cost more. I prefer to have an abundance gold/elixir rather than having then wait on one to max out one
Another preference thing.... as I said earlier getting to wall breakers and stopping can be fine. I only use wall breakers, barbs, and archers 99% of the time. Granted once you get over the 2200 trophy count you need to take advantage of Pekka/Dragon/Hero.
Again, nothing is wrong with any strategy (or any), just point out differences in opinions here as there is no right or wrong way to play this game.

and see i wish i wouldn't have wasted my elixir on upgrading barbarians. i find them useless.
everyone does play differently.
i've seen some people use all archer all goblin attack. then some just use 3 dragons.

I plan on maxing everything out except for gold/elixer before upgrading to TH7
And while im upgrading TH7 ill use those 6 days to upgrade the gold/elixir to lvl 8 or 9

I use 5 Wallbreakers, 2 Giants, and the rest are Goblins. They are sent in waves to just pillage. I've actually got 100% a few times because people had shitty bases.

i don't use archers b/c one mortar shot and it takes half of them out
i use 75% goblins 25% Barbs and i usually get all the gold/elixir and one star

My town hall level 8 upgrade is done in 3 hours

Will prob upgrade lab first and maybe clan castle. I see it only takes 2 days.
Today has been a ridiculous day of raiding, I started at 200K gold and now I'm sitting at 2.5million.

As far as raiding goes, for TH level 7 I used 8 wallbreakers + the rest goblins approach and would fluctuate btw 900-1000 trophies. Attack people with 75K+ in gold and you are straight.
I know everyone does their own thing but over the past month or so I have used this strategy and have never been stopped getting to the other persons gold/elixirs.

im trying not to lose trophies
when i raid with all goblins i usually don't get any stars and end up losing 20 trophies

See I enjoy barbs, they do a lot of dmg and works great with my archers
