I'm sure all of y'all have awesome attack methods but I wanted to share my newest one that lets me attack on a budget. It's been a great way to save up elixer.
First off I'm at around 1200 trophies (have found its the easiest and best to farm at)
I use around 16 Giants, 2 Healers, 2 WallBreakers, 2 Wizards, 2 Valkryies, and the rest Archers/Barbs. Also use my Archer Queen and Barb King.
If I'm not mistaken rough estimate is that cost around 70K to create. So when you raid 200K+ your getting good profit.
It's simple. I just dump my Giants near best spot to take out Air Defense. Then when it's gone I unload both healers Wizards and Val. Let them just wreck shop.
After a good bit of defenses are gone I will send in My Heroes and let them clean up along with my archers.
Doing this aloud me to save up the 6 Mill elixer in 3 days to get my lvl 6 giants. I started their upgrade last night and I am already back up to over 2 million elixer.
I'm sure something this basic wont work on higher trophy counts. (I've been to crystal league. Don't plan on going back for a while haha) but at around the 1200 level it works like a charm.

Everyone is different when I'm farming I spend 40-50k in troops and go after 150+ bases usually.
I'll use 5 WB, 80 goblins, 30 archers, 100 barbs
I farm at 1500-1700 with TH9 usually

I am assuming you have success with that? I may try that... my loadout uses a lot more elixir but I almost always grab 100% gold/elixir
5 WBs, 30 goblins, 70 archers, 15 giants, 1 healer

90% of the time, sometimes due to finger slipping or a poor strategy I fail and I don't get what I want. I attacked one yesterday and when I dropped my barbs all lvl 6 tesla's came out, then behind tesla's was the bombs.....
But he lured me in honestly made one side look easier to attack and by placing his big storages on it.

so whats your strat with that loadout?
Mine is fairly simple in that I get rid of the AD asap, dump giants, dump healer, once they have the area cleared I bring in everything else.
