Can you use a black ops 1 disc in xbone?

beings the game is now accessible thru backwards compatibilty or is it only thru digital you can play the game? I own bo1 ,why would I have to pay for another?

Because backwards compatibility is a misnomer here. They are achieving it through digital content. So just popping in the disc won't work. It's not cost effective for them to build the new machines in order for them to physically be able to play old discs. This is their way around it, and they still make money.
