Can you gaming wizards give me some instructions for emulators on PS1 or PS2?

I've got a Playstation 1 and 2 that are just sitting around. There are ways to get emulators on one of these (or both), right? I'd like to get the ones for NES and SNES, but just not sure how to go about it. I'm familiar with emulators and roms. I used to have them all on my computer years ago, so I'm familiar with how the process works on a computer.
I don't really have a computer that I could get these on now, so I'd like to go the route of putting them on one of the old Playstations.
Would I have to burn something to a CD/DVD and then play that in the console? Is it as simple as that?

You have to have a computer to have an emulator. There are no ps1 or ps2 emulation programs I don't think

I'm pretty sure they have them for PS1 and PS2. I just need some guidance on how to get them.

so you dont own a computer or a laptop?
psx and lower emulators can run on pretty much anything. you can even use your phone. literally whatever you are using right now to post on can run a nes or snes emulator

you have to write stuff to a memory card or flash drive. just google or youtube search what you are looking for. there is information online.

Correct, my phone runs gameboid (snes) fine..now, the controls kinda suck so you're kind of limited there.. Ff6 deaux..my jam during long waits
