Like I said, eventually it wasn't worth the time.

Sometimes no.

Have you played the shooting gallery which is Bioshock 2? Not a bad game, Eleanor is cool.

No heard it was worth skipping and did. My crashing experience with 1 soured me for a while.

Its not made by Irrational, feels and plays like a totally different game but fun.

The Steam version of 1 has some crashing/sound issues that are well known, but it's an easy fix to get it running.

Yes but you had other options in combat which made sense. In BS2 it felt like, lets unload bullets and its the only option. Lets not only unload bullets but lets not let you breath while unloading bullets. You had scenes in Infinite that had become that but it wasn't throughout the whole game from Start to Finish.

Much more than 1 but IMO, nothing like 2.

I really loved Infinite but I kept hearing fans saying it was just an action game. Maybe so, but I didn't revere 1 like most people.

1 had less enemies in combat. Think that was due to limitations of PCs at the time. They made the world so damn beautiful that we didn't have the power to push a shtt ton of NPCs on screen.

Edt: I also loved Infinite. Funny that game doesn't get brought up more for GOAT game. Its not mine, maybe in my top 20 or so but I could see some what of an argument.

I don't know that it was limitations as much as them not stressing combat. They didn't want you to fight a lot of enemies.

Yeah, I agree with this. I just think they were following in System Shock 2's footsteps which also only had small groups of enemies in most fights, sans that game's final boss encounter which was also terrible.

Can't wait for people to play this again and remember the final boss that was so bad I think a lot of people have forgotten about it.

The whole final act after Ryan is bad. I think they were trying to satirize game bosses, but it ended up satirizing itself. That and the terrible fetch quests bring it down a few pegs.

Yeah, I think that most people have probably forgotten the awfulness of that last act. It really falls off after the big reveal of what's been going on the whole time. It's a cool surprise, maybe the best one in gaming, but they didn't have a good way to satisfyingly end it.

The hilarious thing is that System Shock 2 has the EXACT same problem.

Metroid series is the worst I've personally seen.
