It's very hard to dominate in a tank by yourself. You need teammates. And for every vehicle you jump in, there are about four enemies trying to take you out at once. That's called balance for all you akimbo golden gun sprint warp knife types.

Yeah, it's hard to get in a tank and kill people when their guns are useless and you blast them with a single round

Tanks are taken out so much faster now. There are so many anti vehicle unlocks available now, like AJF said, if you don't have a squad supporting you (Engineers), more than likely you won't last long.

Yeah, people who run assault must be tearing through those tanks

They can equip a grenade launcher...no more tank.

You haven't played much, right?

Tank on infantry, one on one, the tank wins. But that's not really what happens at all. Hardly ever. When you're on a map with vehicles, you can pretty much guarantee that at least 75% of the teams are running engineers to help their vehicles and take out the other team's.

I haven't played much Rush at all, so I just wanted to see what the deal was and there are parts of some maps we don't see in Conquest that you get to play on in Rush.

You know what would work in CQ maps? Something like headquarters, but it would have two mcoms like Rush and they would be randomly placed. You have to do two at a time just like Rush before moving to the next set.

I thought about how insane Rush would be on these maps. Would be good for a laugh but a headache.

Still haven't answered my question.

Why does a game that supposedly takes less skill have far and away the bigger competitive scene?

Maybe because everything core competitive aspect in BF3 takes less skill.

Easier to aim in BF3.

People who see other people in Bf3 almost always die first.

Easier to camp.

Camping is in every game. I don't think it's much different across them TBH.

There is nothing in BF3 to counteract camping in BF3 like UAVs.

I've always maintained that COD is just easier to plug into than BF, so that's a big factor IMO.

Not sure how either one is easier than the other. Doesn't COD have, what's it called, crosshair magnet?

With bigger maps, that's a given. But it also means that said campers have a smaller chance on running across a target.

Sniping is definitely more of a challenge in BF. No bullet drop in COD.

Just about everything in BF3 is slower, which makes for easier aiming. And they both have auto-aim btw.

because you haven't played the game

You mentioned the usas and frag combo. That's been fixed for months.

Skill has little to do with popularity or the competitive scene. It's accessible. This is the first BF to hit console. It will take time for its popularity to reach CoD status. On PC, its far more popular.

The rest of your points are gahbitch. Camper in a building? No problem...blow the building up. Can you do that in cod? Guns in BF do not come with a perk to offset recoil. That shite is for pussies.
