I don't think you can put bane in the game. Would annoy the batman fans since it doesn't fit. I assume they cater to those fans most? Or maybe not since they know batman fans will buy it anyway
I mean, yeah Bane does seem a bit early, but he's confirmed. He's a fine killer, but he should be more with a mid-age Batman than a young one. I wouldn't have chosen him.

No rocksteady
No Hamill
No Conroy
No Dini
Sounds like a cash grab, these are the people and the company that made the previous games so great
Ill wait for Greg miller to get his hands on it

Agreed. One of the best I've seen in a long time.
Even the trailer seems fishy. The AC trailer was gritty and sinister. (You find the tyger guard in strange's lab as an Easter egg) this looked sleek and overdone. At least the batclaw slam will still be around, but no grapnel boost (it was a new technology in AC fox just developed it and wasn't ready for field use) makes me sad

So, apparently they're already working on the game after origins.
quote:
Kevin Conroy has clarified that the Arkham game he said he was involved with this weekend isn't Arkham Origins, leading to speculation that he was referring to a new, unannounced game in the franchise.
In case you missed it yesterday, confusion reigned after it emerged Conroy said at the Dallas Comic Con, "I can talk about it now, we've been working for about 9-10 months on the next Arkham." At first it was assumed that this meant earlier reports which stated Conroy wouldn't return to Arkham Origins were incorrect, but then Warner Bros announced that Origins' Batman will be voiced by Roger Craig Smith, leaving everyone thoroughly confused as to what was happening.
In a bid to clear things up, Conroy last night took to his Twitter. According to Batman-News he sent out the following message: "Confusion in Dallas! I am in new ARKHAM GAME coming soon, NOT ARKHAM ORIGINS coming this fall." According to Warner Bros. PR rep Gary Miereanu, this is Conroy's official account.
If we take this at face value, then it seems Conroy is talking about the next Arkham game after Origins, which hasn't been announced yet, possibly for next-gen consoles. Speculation that such a game is in development has been rife since it was confirmed Rocksteady Studios, the creator of the first two Arkham games, wasn't returning for the third instalment. Presumably, they've been at work on this with Conroy all along.

The guy voicing the joker voiced two face in AC and is voicing the lead in "the last of us"

It's not Bane. That's one of the knife thugs from AA.

It looks like this game will include more detective work. Word is there will be multiple ways to "solve" a crime with the new detective tools and there will be red herrings.

I hope if there are more riddler challenges they are mental and not physical. I wasn't a fan of bouncing off 3 walls and flying under a bridge and back up to grab a trophy or whatever other craziness.
The detective aspect is my favorite part of the Arkham series

I just watched the E3 demo (will link soon) and holy shite this game looks great. Zero concerns. The only question in my mind is how the story will stand up against AC. Holy shite, blown away

Troy baker (the last of us/arkham city) sounds great as Mr. J

I think it looks cool but I was hoping they'd go in another direction with it, especially considering it's supposed to be a prequel where Batman hasn't quite established himself yet.
I know the developer mentions this specifically in the video ("Who wants to play as a less cool, less powerful Batman?") but I thought not having all of his gadgets and abilities from the previous games might introduce some new, interesting game mechanics that you couldn't get away from a narrative perspective if it was a straight up sequel to AC.
I'm a Batman fan, though, so even if it's just more AC, I'll probably pick it up at some point.

I'm halfway through arkham asylum but I really like it. Hopefully I will have beaten arkham city by the time this comes out.
