it is but it isn't. the story is 10x better which makes me forget about the repetitiveness.

Ok so I got my preordered copy yesterday. I was under the impression that I would have access to some sort of store from the beginning of the game instead of having to wait till later. How do you get to this store?

Rented this yesterday and so far, I'm not impressed. I bought the first one, and thought it was pretty good (though repetetive) - and I'm hoping this one is different. I only played for 20 minutes so I just got into it and haven't really dipped into the main storyline at all but I'm just not feeling it. It feels forced, but I'll report back after I play more.

Keep playing. I played last night and like you said I was underwhelmed at first. After the story took off, I couldn't put it down.

I thought the plotline to the first one was extremely good and the only real reason to play through the game. Is it really that much better?

I guess I'm gonna quit dicking around and go buy this game today. I kind of wanted to wait until the end of the semester but I have a good break next week to play it.

I am thoroughly impressed. Still only about a quarter of the way through, but it is already one of my favorite games.

got an amazing review from IGN...I absolutely loved the first and I usually dislike any game besides sports or the occasional RPG. I thinnk I'll pick it up on black friday where hopefully it will be cheaper

Acreboy, have you made it to Acre where u play as Altire(sp) yet? im there followed the guy, climbed up on the first balcony and i cant grab a hold of the thing sticking out above the door. Is that where your supposed to go?
