Yeah to play destiny you paid for 5 hours of story missions that you have to repeat 100 times. 4-5 cut scenes that don't explain anything. 1 raid that was glitched until everyone had the best gear and decent pvp. that was just 65.99 and if you wanted the expansion you paid 45+ dollars for another raid that was glitched to hell and a couple of pvp maps

you literally grinded for 195 of those hours tho if you think that was worth it then kudos to you man.

I paid 60 bucks for the guardian edition with both expansions when it was on sale not long ago on the xbone. played a bunch when it first came out on the ps4 but got burned out and sold it. played everyday since I bought it again for the xbone.

We had a good group that got on every night in the fall. It was fun. The game has issues for sure but it's not as bad as people make it out to be.

I loved it at first,,,,then I beat the game and was like...is that all? I haven't played wolves. Last I played was the Hive expansion can't remember the name. I had fun with that but only because my friends were all playing it.

One of those games where beating it is irrelevant. They certainly have a lot of grind but the mechanics are fun to me and if you have people to play with it is more fun. To me the best part is the nightfalls and raids. I haven't gotten to try prison of elders yet. This is the first game where I got into PvP too.
There was a point last night where I decided to stop playing and try to finish Inquisition which I put down a couple of months ago. I jumped into Inquisition and realized how damn grindy that game is too.

We still play nightly. Favorite game of all-time for me. The re-rolling weapons in this new expansion was an awesome addition. Only negative is they basically gave everyone level 34 if you just did the level 32 PoE each week for 3 weeks.

Played the weekly this morning, got the exotic shotgun, and a legendary chest piece that boosted me to 30.
Im not buying the expansions unless they're free so ill just be doing PVP I guess.

The first expansion is nothing special but this last one was a nice boost.

I enjoyed it and played it a lot, casually. One day I woke up and just didn't feel like playing because it was a grind. Traded it in and haven't thought about it since. It ran its course.
Fun enough to play. Give it a go if you like Bungie and shooters.

If you're having fun, who cares?
People get too caught up with how long it takes to get gear or level up, but it's a fricking video game man. None of that stuff has any real value so if you're having a good time shooting shite with your friends then it's worth every penny
