I like it. It's my understanding that it's not going to be a yearly release, but they are going to keep adding courses throughout the year.

Yeah supposedly there's a big update coming in March 2016 I believe. They're adding golfers, courses and some online modes such as best ball and alternate shot if I remember correctly.

How similar is it to the older style game? On the realistic side of the game, I know they have some stuff that's more fantasy golf but I don't care about that. Say like the 2011 edition, I loved that one. Is there a career mode?

It's a decent timewaster....I haven't played it in a while. I bought mine from the online store. Started a season and began winning some $$

Gameplay is excellent in my opinion. Course selection is pretty thin. I think there are 8 real courses and 5 fantasy currently. They are releasing another 3 real courses within the next 3 months, all free content. I think some improvements could be made to online play, but it's definitely worth $25

I just hate how easy the career mode is. I'm not sure what they can do about it though.

The career mode similar to how it used to be? Basically just playing out a regular PGA season? Have all 4 majors? Augusta?

No Augusta, I wouldn't have bought the game if I did my research and realized the contract EA had with Augusta has expired.

Just finished the prologue now it's making me play at round with Rory at Chambers bay after I just played some of it on the prologue, is there a way to skip past this? This is dumb
