Anyone plan on getting Sekiro?

Not really a fan of FromSoftware, but the game looks really tight.
Doesn’t look near as bullshite souls like as their previous stuff. Can’t stand the souls games.

Absolutely, Day 1 purchase. Insider said it’s more unforgiving than Souls. Can’t wait. Fully expect a Bloodborne-esque twist halfway through

Wat. Tenchu was plenty dark. You can still play somewhat stealthily. Guy beat the demo with all stealth kills. It’s going to pull a lot from Tenchu and Kuon

Not quite as fast as BB, from what I’ve seen. While Bloodborne took Souls combat and tweaked it to make evasion the primary mechanic, Sekiro is instead tweaking it to make parrying the primary mechanic. Reports from early players are that it’s extremely satisfying once you get a feel for it. Still looks faster than Souls

Ive only heard that its very challeging to learn the systems, and miyazaki said itll be twice as hard as bloodborne.
Im sure itll be just like the other souls games with a high learning curve, lots of skill checks, and gets easier once you figure out some exploits.

I preordered the collectors edition bc the steelbook is awesome and I wanted the soundtrack. Planned on selling the statue and coins and shite bc who in the world actually displays that.
Looks like collectors editions are going up on eBay for 200-300 bucks since it’s impossible to preorder them now. I may get the Amazon steelbook edition and just sell the whole collectors set

My only problem with the soul’s game is that there’s only so much realism you can put in a video game before it’s just not fun. And not really a video game either. Like, if Sekiro has free movement that FEELS free and really fluid...then that’s the kicker with me. The souls games were clunky at best and the control schemes only made it worse.
The original ninja gaiden black games did this so well and I just hope Sekiro is just a LITTLE bit like those games.
