Oh, no, it's cool. I'm very critical and I rarely voice praise for things.

My issues with Absolution are the whole Batman vision thing, the point shooting (mark and execute from SC:C), and some things i read in reviews. Will get once there's a price drop. just not worth $60 to me.

So far through what I've played, there's only been one part with forced gun action, which was the tutorial. It still focuses almost entirely on stealth and making kills look like accidents if that's what you're complaining about. They also added challenges and scores that add a ton of replayability to the game.

ETA: I do think that the point shooting is cheap and should've been kept out, but the "batman vision" is completely optional and can be turned off. Also, every review I've seen is good and every review on Metacritic has it at 80 or above except for one.

Thanks for the mini-review. Maybe once I play someone's, I'll go buy it. I'm about to read the GiantBomb review; everyone says it's the best review

And here I was trying to be all sneaky like.

I haven't killed a civilian yet.

Just bumping to say this game is incredible so far. I'm really enjoying the story and the levels are so much fun to try to figure out how to do it stealthily. I'd say it's better than Blood Money so far and that game was one of my favorites. The NPC reactions and interactions are really cool.

How is it?

I usually have ready access to a PC, but the Xbox is hard to get to.

Agreed. I haven't played too much, just got to the king of Chinatown mission but so far I'm enjoying it. This is the first hitman I purchase, but it sure it pretty too

The Chinese New Year mission is really awesome with the crowds. It reminded me of the Mardi Gras level on Blood Money, except the crowd is way more interactive this time around.

ETA: I'd suggest getting Blood Money for cheap. It's not nearly as pretty since it's 6 years old but it is a ton of fun.

Bump. I beat the game and it was a ton of fun to play through. Definitely as good as, if not better than, Blood Money. I'll definitely be playing the levels over again just to try out different approaches. The ending seems to suggest that we haven't seen the end of the franchise, either.

I'm on the mission with the Saints right now. Have had a blast with this game.

I have to restart a lot because I am trying to get as many Silent Assassin bonuses as possible. If someone sees me, restart.
