No local co op.

Yep
The 24th.
Edt: On PC, so no local co-op probably wasn't an option anyway. Not like I could find anyone to play locally anyway. None of my IRL friends game.

No local co-op seems like they completely misunderstood the point of these games

Dude.
Real reason is because all my costa wearing friends believe video games are ghey. Isn't SE LA awesome for understanding different interests and hobbies?

Very few moments were better as a kid than renting TMNT: Turtles in Time from Blockbuster and co-oping that game with friends.

Nothing says diversity like Louisiana

All of my IRL friends are either living in other towns/states or are old non-gamers (older than me, late 30s, early 40s, mostly work people). The ones who moved away are gamers, but they either have no time to play or only play single player stuff. We had LAN parties nearly every weekend throughout college, playing the original COD and COD 2, Unreal Tournament 2003/2004, and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. They were always total clusterfrickers for the first hour, trying to get a switch working with a bunch of noob-built Windows XP machines, inevitably someone can't see the server. We weren't as savvy back then.
Before they moved, we'd even get together to play MW2 in the same room even though we didn't need to.
I just made myself depressed.

Is it as good as Turtles in Time (SNES)

Wow. I opened the thread to say I would definitely be getting this, but if the quoted text is true then I doubt I will buy it. Ridiculous decision.

I think Platinum Games may be one of the most overrated game developers

Is the Co-Op in this game Cross Platform? I will be on Steam this evening.
Looks like Tokka won't be in the game. Son of a bitch was caught in Bayou Black 1 month ago.

I've heard that the game is 3 hours long, very repetitive and has lazy environments. I definitely wouldn't pay 49.99 for it.

They did nothing to promote it. Will it be worse than the movie?
Posted on 5/24/16 at 7:36 pm to Mr Gardoki
Considering Platinum is a good dev, it's a big disappointment. And I wouldn't go see the new movie if it were free.

Just did a google search to try and see what any one might be saying. The second result was, Platinum's Worst Game?
So no thanks.

It's only 39 bucks?

It was 49 on psn and they brought it down to 39.99. It's currently still 49.99 on retail sites.

Ah gotcha
Steam and GoG have it at 39. Didn't know it was ever 49.
3hr long campaign is a 10 dollar game.
