I can't imagine a mouse clicking too loud, but I guess I've been fortunate. Mechanical keyboards on the other hand...

I used to work next to a cad engineer that would physically abuse the frick out of his peripherals

He must have had a Hideo Nomo like windup on his mouse index finger

And he beat the shite out of that space bar too

Annoyed the shite out of me

I was in a foul mood yesterday; was trying to get a drawing out with really crappy field work. I let everyone in the office know when I clicked the mouse. I feel it in my index finger today.

I've got a little wireless logitech. It's cheap. And it clicks loud.

What do you use?

Not sure what the definition of quiet is in this instance. I have that same mouse, and it clicks like any other mouse I've had. You can click it like a normal human, or you can angrily rap it for more dramatic effect.

However, if you're feeling brave...

Just the cheapo one my office provided when I got my new computer, but I've gotten used to it. Maybe you could consider it "loud", but I've never had a mouse that clicked quietly, so maybe I don't know what I'm missing out on.

I used that kind of mouse for a while before my computer started hating it. Love it...........so I snuck it to the house.

My office views the constant mouse clicks as being productive. A quiet mouse might get me fired.

That looks like the little cheap one i have.

Sitting in the library in the quiet area really accentuates the noise level.

Yes. It is. I just want to play The Witcher 2 in peace, but no, some nerd has to give me evil eyes because i have to rapid click button mash my loud arse mouse to load and fire a balista.

What does she want me to do? Let the king and his men get mowed down by some archers just so she can study? I don't think so. I'm trying to quell an uprising here. It's a little more important that whatever you're studying.
