Aaaaaand......crickets.

I guess the running theory out there is they're holding on to it for the eventual Switch 2 release, and considering everyone is convinced the Twilight Princess/Wind Waker remasters are a real thing, Nintendo has no problem sitting on games. Because MP4 certainly isn't a 5 year development game, like God of War was.

Games take time these days. It shouldn't be that hard to understand why.

Especially when the team wasn't allowed to be in the same building for 2 of those years.

Nintendo games on launch are far more complete in comparison to other triple A titles. Rushing things don’t seem to be in Nintendo’s blood.

Possible it's an early release for switch 2 as an exclusive you can't get on the first iteration to drive console sales as well. It might be preferable if that's the case.
