frick 343.

Glad everyone is finally on board the hate train. Except MLster who is still in denial.

Told y'all day one this thing was a piece of shite that wouldn't get fixed. 2 months later and it's not gonna get fixed

I'll never entertain the idea of purchasing a 343 diarrhea bomb ever again and hope Microsoft will finally hand this off to a studio competent enough to wipe its own arse.

I dont have many problems either.
I never get split up and usually find a game in less than a minute.

After each game my party does end for some reason and we have to invite each other back, which doesn't take long but is really annoying.

I dont know how they used to make games that worked and cant anymore. Ill get halo 5 for the story at least but maybe i wont pre order it.

Im more disappointed with assassin s creed. The game finally plays fine but the story sucks. I am done with them for a while

I love Halo, but the want to play this game has deteriorated at an alarming rate. When the Pros are shitting on HCS because everything about it is broken, you know you are losing the fight. 343 has a TON of making up to do and if they ever release Paid DLC they will get shite on more than anything imaginable.

I'm more tempted to get an original xbox now and play the original honestly.

I donated mine to my church's youth group years ago, along with CE. I was glad to do it, but somewhat regretted it Especially when my friends would get together for some old school Halo lans, but everyone had a 360, which worked, but it wouldn't run as smooth as it did on the original.

Problems that have happened:

1. It splits lobby members up constantly (playing Halo: CE and Halo 2 with 1 other friend) 3 out of 6 games we have been split.

2. After the game it takes 30+ seconds for our mics to work in lobby regardless of if we are same team or not.

3. When we join party while just sitting in the lobby or in game the mics don't work.

4. The lobby leader changes all the time in between games. We have played 6 games of Halo CE and Halo 2 and after each game the lobby leader has changed no less than 4 times.

5. We had to restart our Xbox and leave the party to join each other's lobby (The reason I made this post) .
This seems like a pretty simple formula that most multiplayer games have figured out except 343. They're a bunch of fricking crooks.

Someone who is a lot smarter than me can answer this: with online play being as old as it is, shouldn't there be a standard for new games to follow in setting this up? Or does it have to be different from game to game because of resources? I would assume, minus a few hiccups, that getting your game to work online should be pretty streamlined by now.

I guess I just don't understand why this should be so hard after all this time.

Thats part of my frustration. The games were already made, what exactly did 343 do besides frick it all up and enhance graphics??

I don't have a great understanding either but I think yes and no. I'm tired of hearing the excuses that say 'we can't test this type of traffic' and blah blah blah. Of all Destiny's faults, the game worked on day 1 and their servers were hit as hard as anyone.

This sounds a lot like the issues Homefront had on release. Completely killed any chance that game had.

It was a horrible game launch and 343 really pooped itself.

Done some co-op campaigns, but gave up on match-making long ago.

Love Halo, but will probably wait a bit on Halo 5 to see if it is working when launched.

For those of you that got it early, at least some freebies are coming your way.

I would never release a game without having some sort of of beta test.

Yep with a game as big as Halo that should have been a no brainer.

Also don't know how any review site didn't catch/point out huge flaws in MCC, makes it look like they got a fat check.

The H2A campaign is pretty badass with the new graphics and cut scenes. The CEA gameplay campaign is also nice since I never got to play that edition.

They've kind of backed off the server load excuse and now gone to saying "Well, we outsourced all 4 games and they all have different net code, and we're not smart enough to compile all of that ourselves, so you're SOL."

Has anyone played the H5 beta yet? Thinking of trying to play some tonight. Is it experiencing the same issues as MCC?
