2nd madden patch coming soon!

dosen't say when, but this is going to be a fantastic patch that fixes most of my major complaints about madden thus far...

and no patch to include the accel play clock like EA had talked about before.
....looks like I'll be trading my copy in soon.
If a game needs 18 'fixes' on its 2nd patch, it just aint worth having in the first place.
in other news, MLB 08 'The Show' is still the best sports game ever put out.

wow, thats dumb.
you bought the game... granted, it was flawed and you're pissed it wasn't perfect. if you expected it to be perfect you're a dumbass in the first place.
now its being fixed (some) and you're still pissed it wasn't perfect so you're trading it.

Now that the technology is available to download patches/updates for their games, EA is going to totally half arse everything they release now. Which is a real shame because before EA monopolized the football market, their games were really good and had fewer bugs. Madden 2004 is still one of my favorite football games ever made, followed very closely by Madden 2005.

they're fixing flaws like:
if people play an online game using different cameras the game flips out, cut ea some slack.

Because they're not adding the one thing I thougth they would be adding. The game is no fun for me in franchise mode without the accel play clock.
Is/was that so hard to understand?

yes, an accelerated play clock being that "crucial" to your gaming experience is kind of hard to understand.

hell as much as i want to play my franchise its pretty pointless when my players ratings dont progress after the season

Also have you guys never played a game on the PC before? 95% of the games on a pc have a patch to correct things.
game companies can only have so many testers that find so much. Once you release a game and millions of people are playing your bound to find things that you missed or did not think of.

By the way, EA and Take 2 are having discussions behind closed doors about an EA takeover of Take 2. I even think it could be a hostile takeover. This suck donkey balls, because on 360, MLB 2K8 is solid and I've heard reviews about 2K's NHL series being pretty solid itself.
Once again. I hate EA. They're ruining sports gaming.

no Madden patch 2 will not be out for another few weeks. THey just submitted to Sony/MS and it takes a few weeks for them to approve.

PS3 patch came out today and it downloads automatically when you start the game
