It would be worth it if I planned to play more than 3 games a year

My gaming is way, way down.

About to play in the Rising Stars game. Have a competition in the game against Jackson Ellis for a Champs Contract. Also in the middle of trying to get the KIA contract by winning 6 out of 10 games. I believe I have won $ out of 6 so far. Got drafted by the Hawks as a PG, they were pretty bad, so got traded to the Nets, they kept playing me at SF so I got traded to the Nuggets, we are now # 1 in the west!!! Probably need to up the difficulty to HOF, because I am up for the MVP as a rookie averaging 36 ppg.

I need to crank the difficulty up to HOF for the same reasons, but the 76'ers are soooo bad I don't think we'd ever win a game

What part of the season is this at, I would assume the same time as the All-Star game

It's not much harder on offense but prepare to never stop anyone on defense ever.

I haven't played a basketball game since NBA live 08. Downloaded on Sunday and wow. This game looks amazing. I suck something awful right now but its still insanely fun to play. Any tips for a complete noob? I'm on the one.

learn the pick and roll... probably the most useful offensive weapon in the game

also, if playing as a PG in MyCareer mode, skip playing the Nuggets... Ty Lawson is impossible to guard.... dude roasted me

Yes, pick and roll is your friend. When he sets the pick pull the right trigger and fake towards the pick so that the defender runs into him then cut back the other way.

You should have a opening towards the basket or be able to hit your big man rolling towards it.

I'm a PG on MyCareer. I'm struggling on defense. Played the Lakers last night and Nash abused me a couple of times.

what is this sorcery?

What does the right trigger do? I usually just run my man into the screen using a crossover

Pulling the right trigger while flicking the right stick to the right makes your guy kinda hop in that direction to set up a crossover the opposite way. Do that to get the defender to run into the pick then go the other way.

Right stick by itself won't help that much.

I use to think it was hard as shite to cross guys over until I started pulling the right trigger while moving the right stick.

yeah, we got smashed. lost 5 games in a row.
we showed great heart in several close comebacks tho.

apparently everyone just creates a 6'11" SF at drops $50 IRL Cash to max out their players. shite was ridiculous. The idea for the Park is sweet, but it needs patching something fierce. More courts. Less 3 point cheese. Less success at swiping at the ballhandler 24/7 and getting steals. And obviously some lag issues.

It's still fun tho. Just got to find some scrubs to beat down on until our 85/86 level players get to 99.

you do know this is my "game" right?

quote:

spend 50 IRL

need courts that are "IRL VC free"

I'm thinking level capped courts.

60-70
70-80
80-90
90+

that a way if you are so inclined to "cash" your way to the top you can go play with the other cashers.

and the lag/ lagout issues should be addressed. I run 12-18 ping usually and 40+ down. its a server issue.

you would have rage quit the one match me and DMB played later last night.

it was 3 on 3.

Me, DMB, and a level 99 Shooting Guard (who was trash)

vs

2 juiced out, maxed out, lvl 99's that were both 6'11" 250lbs. they could throw lobs to each other across court and there was no stopping it. They could also rain 3's and had Chris Paul-esque type handles. and a level 69. They had matching uniforms too. All black jerseys, only the team name was colored. Matching Jordans. No way they didn't spend $$$$$ on those players. The level 69, we didn't even guard. we would just double whatever juice monkey had the ball.

from what I've watched online being a 6'11", 250lb, lvl 99, SF is pretty much the favorite cheese move on the game.
It's an unstoppable character. Max Height plus Max Athleticism.

And from what I've read everyone experiences lag while playing. There's not much anyone can do, but deal with it. Sucks.

But yes, I agree on your "IRL VC free" court idea. Would be amazing. If you spend a single $ on your character you should have to play in a special cheezer league.

Gotta love 7' LeBron's. That is definitely the frame the cheesers are rolling with.
