2017...... PES or FIFA?

I bought them both last year, I probably haven't played PES in 8 months.

I'm a very casual gamer though. As in, I play like 2-3 games total. I play FIFA multiple times a week, then maybe over a holiday or something I'll get sucked into something else. I don't do FUT or anything, I use FIFA as decompression after work, nothing more.

Anyway, I think PES arguably has the better gameplay, but I quickly grew tired of how quirky it was and how bad the interface was. I have no doubt that if you committed to PES you'd probably enjoy it, but it was a waste for my limited purposes.

Only Hipsters like PES.

Or so they said in the other thread. I think I'm getting PES this year. If I really do miss Licensing I can always buy FIFA this year or next. No loss. PES has better gameplay, full stop. It just lacks in nearly every other area. I want to see if that's enough to keep me interested.

I am waiting, however, for the general FIFA impressions to come out just to make sure.

PES is sounding good, plus apparently the new edit share system allows you to play with.... whatever team the online community can come up with. Very cool.

PES is the Fire Pro Wrestling of Soccer games.

And since critics are the ones that decide most of the game awards, I stand by my comment.

I think at this point you are just a big time FIFA homer and no matter what anyone said or reviewed about PES you would bash it. Whatevs.

Yeah, they do what an NCAA Football game would have to do for missing licenses and let the community make and upload them. It's really nice.

Can't file share on Xbox apparently, so rip any NCAA Football chances on that system in the future unless they add it in. Weird to not have/allow it.

really enjoying PES compared to last years FIFA. i've played through a season and a half of PES version of "online seasons (its 10 games also)". i downloaded all the kits and league logos too. been mostly playing master league. like the player progression system being based on players performance on the pitch.

if you have xbox i'm sure you'll be buying FIFA but PS4 i think PES is the go to

The only thing PES has that I wish was in FIFA is the real names for stuff like the Champions League.

I really enjoyed the bit of story mode we got in the demo, it is put together a lot better than I expected from an EA game.

PES doesn't have pro clubs, which I will play an absurd amount with my friends.

I also just enjoy how it plays more than PES. It is just more fun, which is what I want from a game.
