Bought a bag of Crawtators today. Seasoning and cooking has changed. They are not good. Did they change the recipe for them all? Bastards

And you never can find a few flavors like sour cream and onion which are some of my favorites.

Yeah, Ron Zappe died in 2010. I met and talked with Mrs. Zappe soon after, she lived in Woodstone in BR. The business was sold to Utz soon after. So Zapp's is now only a brand name.

Yep, too greasy for my taste. I've been buying the Lays Kettle Chips----thin, crispy, no greasy taste and very well seasoned.

I haven’t noticed a change in Zappa VooDoo chips. How recently did this happen?

For the most part I don’t notice much of a difference. Sometimes you get a garbage bag that is overcooked or over seasoned, but I’ve always found them a little inconsistent.

Now I have to go to Am Mart for a Cajun turkey and little bag of crawtaters.

I think they are using the oil too long in their plain chips. The last couple of bags I've purchased had dark and very oily chips.
