Maybe it was the water or the hotel bathroom style coffee cups but River Road was pretty bad last time I had it.

Cafeciteaux Coffee
The absolute best coffee roasted in the state and possibly in the South. People talk about the Northwest as if its this mythical coffee magic land and their coffee cannot be reproduced or even be made better in other areas of the country. These guys put people roasters like Starbucks and Stumptown to shame, they just don't have the big name and they are small enough to be quality focused.

Grew up with CDM Coffee and Chicory, cold-drip, but Union Coffee and Chicory is now my mainstay.
