Maybe a better question for the outdoor board, but I have 8 wood ducks and I'm trying decide on a couple of ways to cook them. My father-in-law usually cooks a basic rice and gravy with them, but I'm looking at doing something different. Any suggestions? Is wood duck a good choice for duck and andouille gumbo?

BTW, I'm not looking into cooking all 8 ducks in one dish here.

Wood ducks sre too good for gumbo. If they are picked, whole ducks, look in the Recipe Thread for my Duck 'n Greens or the Duck Ville Platte recipes.

Pot roast them with just salt and pepper.
