For years I bought filled king cakes for the added flavor.

Went back to a cinnamon focused king cake and remembered how you dont have to mess around with good.

Alberstons btw. Come at me randazzo and dong fans. Most local grocery store king cakes arent that much of a taste difference at a half of the price and no wait like the nola bakeries.

Filled can be good but it ain't a King Cake.

King Cakes aren't filled.

Call it a Carnival Ring or something.

Either I'm hammered, or you're hammered. Not sure who.

With or without maybe?

With, but scoop out about 50%-75% of the fillings with a spoon or butter knife because it’s alway way too much.

I take it you aren’t one of the hipster carpetbaggers who rushed to social media on Saturday to let everyone what January 6 means in NOLA.

I'm usually a traditionalist when it comes to most things.

But if not in public, I will tear a filled cream cake up.

Nothing wrong the traditional either though.

Friend brough a boudin filled king cake to party once. It was not good.

Now this aint a real king cake. Disgusting. And where is everyone getting their cakes from that you have to scoop out the filling? Most of mine you have to search for the filling. Ambrosia used to be good with the filling but lately its like they were trying to hide it from you.
